In numerology, life moves in cycles of nine years. Your Personal Year Number tells you where you are in that cycle and what kind of energy the year carries: a 1 Year for starting, a 4 Year for building, a 9 Year for finishing and letting go.
Personal Months and Personal Days are smaller cycles inside the year. They help with timing: when to start a project, when to rest, when to have an important conversation. They describe the weather, not your fate, so use them as a planning aid rather than a rule.
For someone born on 23 July, the year 2026 gives 7 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 22, and 2 + 2 = 4: a 4 Personal Year. In October (month 10) the Personal Month is 4 + 1 + 0 = 5, and on the 27th the Personal Day is 5 + 2 + 7 = 14, then 1 + 4 = 5.
Most numerologists change the Personal Year on 1 January. Some prefer your birthday. This calculator uses 1 January.
Years 1 to 3 are a time of planting and growth: new starts, patience and self-expression. Years 4 to 6 are about building: work, change and responsibility. Years 7 to 9 bring reflection, reward and completion before the cycle begins again.
Knowing your place in the cycle helps you work with the year rather than against it. A 7 Year is a poor time to force expansion, and a 1 Year is a poor time to hold on to the past.
Each card shows what a number means as a Personal Year, a Personal Month and a Personal Day.
Personal Year numbers work best as a calendar for intentions. Many readers plan the year ahead each January using these tips.

This calculator changes the Personal Year on 1 January, the most common method. Some numerologists change it on your birthday instead; if you follow that method, use the previous calendar year until your birthday.
No. A 9 Year is a year of completion. Endings feel more natural and old patterns are easier to release, which makes room for the fresh start of the next 1 Year.
Yes. Many people pick a 1 Day to launch something, an 8 Day for business and a 6 Day for family events. Use it together with common sense and practical needs.
Indian numerology has a similar idea, but this page uses the Western method of birth month and day plus the calendar year.
